Mission Groups


 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Royal Ambassadors is a Southern Baptist Mission Group for boys in 1st throuth 6th grade.  Through trained leadership in RA's we strive to teach boys to apply the RA Pledge to their everyday lives.
                       AS A ROYAL AMBASSADOR I WILL DO MY BEST:
    
To become a weel-informed, responsible follower of Christ.
     To have a Christlike concern for all people.
     To learn how the message of Christ is carried around the world.
     To work with others in sharing Christ; and
     To keep myself clean and healthy in mind and body
             *RA's meet Wednesdays @ 7:00 PM in the Children's Building

 

GIRLS IN ACTION is a missions action and education organization   for girls in grades first though sixth.  In GA's girls participate in:
     - learning about missionaries and what they do.
     - praying for missionaries and their work.
     - discovering how they can help tell other people about Jesus.
     - saving and giving money to help support missions efforts.
     - learning about people around the world.
     - having fun with friends!

 Mission Friends is a church missions organization for preschoolers.  The primary objective of Mission Friends is to provide a strong foundation for preschoolers to begin learning the concepts of God's love, focusing on the needs of others, and understanding that they can help someone know about His good news.  Classes for preschoolers are offered on Wednesday nights at 7:00 PM on the first floor of the BHBC Children's Building.

 
   
   
 

Women On Mission is a missions organization for women ages 18 and up.  Through this group, women learn to pray for, participate in, and give to missions, both locally and globally.  The overall purpose of Women On Mission is to present every person the opportunity to hear and respond to the gospel of Jesus Christ.  Women On Mission  meet the third Wednesday of each month @ 12 Noon.  Other various mission projects are coordinated throughout the year.

 
 Mission Offerings
   

The Annie Armstrong Easter Offering is a yearly emphasis designed to help our church learn about and support Southern Baptist mission efforts throughout the North American continent.  By giving a sacrificial, monetary gift, we help SBC missionaries in Canada, Mexico, and the United States carry the gospel to every person.  To find out more about North Ammerican missions, click the logo.

The Lottie Moon Christmas Offering is a annual emphasis designed to help our church learn about and support Southern Baptist mission efforts throughout the entire world.  By giving a sacrificial, monetary gift, we help SBC missionaries reach out to over 1,473 people groups.  An annual prayer emphasis is promoted also to encourage the motto: "that all people might know Him".  To find out more about International Mission efforts, click the logo.
