Student Ministry Programs

Sunday Morning Student Groups
Sunday Morning is a big deal to students. Sunday Morning (SUMO) Student Groups meet during the regular Sunday School hour beginning at 10.00 a.m. This is an important time for students to meet in a more personal, small group setting matched by age range and gender. SUMO Groups are a great place for students to grow together in their understanding of God's Word and putting it to work in their lives. We're excited about this time every week for students to grow, support and encourage each other together.

3rd Floor - Wednesday @ 6:45 p.m.
3rd Floor is an opportunity for students to get together in a large-group, high-energy setting for worship. 3rd Floor is a great introduction to the Student Ministry and a chance for students to plug in to something bigger than themselves. If you're looking to be a part of something, connect with Christian students, or just check things out, 3rd Floor is a great time in the middle of the week to do that.

Youth Discipleship
Ready to be challenged and get more real about your faith? That's where we're headed in Youth Discipleship. If you are interested in taking God's Word deeper into your life, this is your chance to do that. Connect with other students while we figure out together what it looks like to follow Jesus.

BHBC "Big Give"
This is a chance for our church to reflect the love of God in our community. Every month, students bring one (1) of a selected, inexpensive item. The Student Ministry collects these items and gives them away as a gift from our church to a group in the community. It's really neat!

Student Worship Team
The BHBC Student Worship Team is made up of student musicians who lead worship for the Wednesday Student Worship Service. To be a member of this team takes an attitude of worship, musical talent, dedication, teamwork and leadership by example. The SWT selects its members based on these qualities. SWT requires students to give their best, but for those willing, this is a great opportunity to worship by serving.

College Ministry
The College group gets together every Thursday afternoon to eat, hang out, and explore Scripture. They meet at the BHBC College House. On Sundays, they meet at 10:00 a.m. for Bible Study. This is a close group that does all kinds of things together throughout the year. This group is college-led and organized and is a great place to belong.
