Visiting BHBC
We would like to make your visit to Brainerd Hills as pleasant and enjoyable as possible. Below are some frequently asked questions about our services and programs:
Where is Brainerd Hills Baptist Church located?
BHBC is located at 6611 E. Brainerd Road between Hickory Valley Road and Vance Road, just west of
The School Box Teacher Supply Store.
How should I dress?
While some attendees wear their "Sunday best," many folks dress more comfortably on Sunday mornings. Sunday and Wednesday evenings are typically more casual. What concerns us most is not your dress but your desire to worship the Lord.
When do I need to arrive?
Sunday services begin at 9:00 am, 11:00 am. and 6:00 pm. Sunday School hour is at 10:00 a.m. We suggest arriving ten to fifteen minutes before your desired worship/Sunday School time to allow for parking and making your way to the right place.
Where do I park?
We reserve parking spaces for our guests near the front sections of our complex to allow for easy access to the main entrances. Many of our members park in the back lots to insure our guests have access to the most convenient spaces.
Where do my children go?
BHBC has excellent facilities and ministries for your children. While greeters are positioned to welcome and assist you at every entrance, the most convenient point of entry for parents is the Children's Building on the lower end of our complex. Here, you will be received, registered, offered a pager that allows our workers to contact you if needed, and shown to your childs room. We offer preschool childcare from bed babies through 3 years. Children's Church for 4's and 5's is offered during the 11:00 a.m worship hour. Sunday School classes are offered for all ages.
What about security?
We take child security seriously. Each child must be registered before entering a Sunday School class, and both you and your child will be assigned a security tag. The tag must be presented when you pick up your child. Additional security measures and personnel are on campus to ensure the safety of every attendee.
How can I meet other people and get connected?
Sunday morning Bible Study classes offer a great starting point. Our Bible Study classes meet every Sunday at 9:00 a.m. and provide the opportunity for discipleship and fellowship in a relational atmosphere. For more information on various Bible Study classes, contact Mike Lofton, Minister of Education, at 892-6645.
