As we enter the Easter season, we invite you to join us as we individually and collectively fast and pray to know the Lord in a deeper way and see His work in our lives and church. Biblical fasting is the giving up of food for the purpose of seeking the Lord and longing for Him more than what our earthly bodies need. It is a true sacrifice in our lives to earnestly pray, read the Word, meditate on His truth, intercede on behalf of others, and/or seek the mighty work of God. As our minds and bodies long for the food or things we have given up, we as Believers should long for God, His presence, and His work in our lives. We can long to see salvation, spiritual breakthrough, healing, restoration of marriages, etc. Fasting exposes sin in our lives while also allowing us to better devote ourselves to the Lord. We encourage you to join us as we seek the Lord together.
